How feedback and reputation work

PBWire has two separate trust signals. Both are meant to be useful, not stressful.

1. Reputation (the number on a member's profile)
A general thumbs-up for helpful, friendly members. Click Rate on any post to give someone reputation, with a short reason.

2. Trade feedback ("Total Feedback" next to a name)
This is a member's trading record. It is tied to a real listing, so it carries weight.

Leaving feedback after a trade

1. Open the listing post and click Add Feedback.

2. Pick your role (buyer, seller, or trader) and whether it was positive, neutral or negative.

3. Add a short, specific comment. Star ratings for item as described, communication, and shipping are there too.

Good to know

• To leave feedback, an account needs to be about a week old with a few posts. This keeps fake accounts out. Anyone can receive feedback.

• Be fair and specific. If something went wrong, try to sort it out first. Going negative should be a last resort, not a first reaction.

• Feedback can't be edited or deleted by members. If there's a mistake or a dispute, report it and a moderator will look.

• Fake feedback (trading with yourself, alts, or friends just to build a record) is the one thing we do come down on hard.

Trusted Trader
Members who have been around for a month, posted regularly, and earned some reputation get the Trusted Trader title and a green name automatically. Their reputation ratings also count extra.
